Two paintings!


Started this as a speedpaint last week and decided to polish it a bit more the other night. Original concept, cause I just felt like it. C:



We had a art-gift exchange between the two graphic design classes this week, here's what I did! I ended up getting the girl sitting next to me, who is a huge fan of Tim Burton. :) 
(I actually painted this about a month ago... didn't want to post it in case she saw it!)

    These are great!!! Quelle bonne idée de s'offrir de l'art comme cadeau (entre les classes de CGI et CG2!) i love your girl... :-)
    Et ton arbre... wow. It's the kinda painting that has me wanting to be at 2 places at the same time. Under the tree and in the cave-like space, looking at the tree. Gorgeous... xoxo

    Oui c'était une très bonne idée, c'est un des 1ere années qui l'a organisé! On est allé au Dooly's hier pour faire l'échange & fêter ensemble. :) (I had Caro Pelletier, it's supposed to be her portrait in a Corpse Bride kind of style)

    I'm glad you enjoy the scenery, I really liked painting it and I want to do more!

    Je dois dire que j'aime particulièrement la deuxième image. Le visage, les couleurs et l'arrière-plan font en sorte que cette image est très dynamique. Je trouve que c'est vraiment réussi et très différent de ce que tu fais habituellement. Continue à faire des peintures, tu as beaucoup de talent!

    Tu as raison, ce style est vraiment different de ce que je fait habituellement. Mais c'etait vraiment l'fun! :)
